The Caves – a poem

There are no boundaries here.  The tide rises to permeate these caves and I welcome the drowning, like mountain honey on a starved tongue. Salted ocean is a cold and wet woman, awake to the billions of stars in her waters. She: an expanse, cosmic and unknowable, charged with the holding of things, people, memory.…

I'm an eco-pagan polytheist and artsy cottage witch in the Pacific Northwest. I write about goddess worship, pagan parenting, and spiritual ecology (there's some poetry thrown in there too). You can also find me on YouTube or on Instagram.

I don't know if it's the sunshine or the gods putting energy into my heart but DAMN I'm so glad we've committed to our little cottage garden.
So tomorrow is Easter and I'm going to use it as Ostara part ii. πŸ˜…πŸ₯° I'm just in too good of a mood this spring and want all the colors, tulips, and hopping hares I can get! Tomorrow I think I'll collect some stones from the yard & paint them to add to these pots in the kitchen. Thinking bees, ladybugs, Izzy's footprint, rabbits, rainbows, birds... Y'know. Cutesy springtime shit. πŸΌπŸ’•πŸŒ·πŸŒˆπŸžπŸ
Final vs sketch of a eucalyptus nymph. Tbh I kind of dig the expression in the sketch and wish I had kept that messiness. I think this is on I'll return to later and create a version two, with a bit more attitude. Like a twin. Or Dark Betty 😜
We've started working on our cottage garden. This time next year, we'll be world class green witches.
Postpartum but make it hot πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Our cottage is really small, so we're sharing a bedroom with Isidora. There isn't space for a dedicated nursery. So, I've taken the approach in redecorating of making our little home feel like a blend of all of us. Whimsiness abounds. Which brings me to this vintage needlework from the 1970s.
